Meet Backwoods Bohnhead
Kathy Whitaker:
Kathy was born and raised in
Kentucky.
Starting at the age
of 7,
she began fishing and
spending hours in the woods,
by following her cousin on
the family farm.
Little did she know
that her love for the
outdoors had just begun.
It wasn’t until she
was 10 that she harvested
her first deer.
However her passion
for being in the woods would
take a back seat to her
competitive side in
cheerleading, pageants,
gymnastics & track. She went
on to pursue her career and
became the mother of three
wonderful kids. Then as fate
would have it, she met Ryan.
He reintroduced her to the
joy of hunting and fishing.
The first season back was
all it took.
She now cherishes her time
spent in the woods with her
husband, whether in the hot
seat or running the camera.
Kathy is a successful
business woman who hopes to
pass along the enjoyment of
being outdoors to her kids,
step kids and other women
hunters. |
