Donnie A.K.A "The Donkey" grew up among the hills of middle Georgia and the swamps of Southeast Georgia. It is here while spending time with family and friends, that he first discovered his love for the outdoors. Donnie first began his career with Backwoods Life TV and radio, while working with Traditional Sportsman Magazine as a writer and photographer. Since becoming a "Bohnhead" with the Backwoods Life crew in 2006 Donnie has held various positions/titles. Currently when he is not running into burning buildings saving lives or teaching others how to do so... He serves as the plantation manager for Backwoods Farm III in Southwest Georgia.
